- Traditional Lacquer Pen “Iro-Miyabi” is a series of writing instruments that expresses the traditional Japanese “Iro” (color) and “Miyabi” (elegance) in colored lacquer. Created using “Seiga-nuri”, a creative Kaga-nuri lacquer, and Kaga Lacquerware (Yamanaka Lacquerware). FUKAKI-AKE: A noble color since the Asuka period. Madder red and purple are cross-dyed. It was a dyeing method that required many processes. The paulownia box supplied with this fountain pen is extremely suitable for the storage of lacquer products. It is complimented by the addition of a Sanada-strap which is commonly used in the Japanese tea ceremony. Including a cleaning cloth, cartridge ink (2 pcs), ink converter (installed in the pen) and instruction manual.
