Additional information:- To celebrate its centenary, Namiki has created these original Yukari fountain pens. Each model is made using Maki-e and pays homage to one of the 7 Gods of Fortune, the most popular ones in Japan. Affectionately called the "Happy Buddha," it is the only monk in the collection. It is said to be the incarnation of the Buddhist deity Maitreya Bodhisattva. In the pen's body, it is depicted with a cheerful smile on its chubby face. On its shoulders, it carries a Kannin-bukuro, where it is supposed to have all the treasures and blessings it brings to people.
